2015 U.S. Open women's final: Time, TV schedule
The 2015 U.S. Open women's singles final is set and one familiar name is not in the mix.
Many were certain Serena Williams would play for the fourth title of the season and hopefully complete a calendar Grand Slam, but Roberta Vinci put an end to that. Vinci stunned Williams in the semifinals on Friday, for one of the biggest upsets in tennis history.
Vinci will face compatriot Flavia Pennetta in the the final at Arthur Ashe Stadium on Saturday. Pennetta shocked world No. 2 Simona Halep in the semifinals to reach the title match.
