Covers: Adesanya is favored

Rohit Ponnaiya writes: "While Adesanya hasn't fought since last September, taking nearly a year off to reset might be good for him. Especially since he has admitted to physical and mental fatigue after nine title fights over a four-year period. If Adesanya is as focused as he seems, he should be able to put on a striking clinic against the hittable du Plessis and make this ML price look like a gift."

Du Plessis' coach Morne Visser: Adesanya got no chance

Morne Visser told DAZN: "We haven't shown them anything yet and that's what they can't figure out, we've got a different game plan for every fight. I see Dricus beating Izzy wherever we decide to — in standup, in the kicking, in the clinch, in the wrestling or on the floor. He's got no chance."
