2018 Winter Olympics: U.S. snowboardcross competitor Rosie Mancari sidelined by injury
PYEONGCHANG, South Korea — An injury will sideline U.S. snowboardcross competitor Rosie Mancari.
Mancari, who is from Anchorage, is being treated for injuries to her left and right ankles following a training crash Tuesday at Phoenix Park. She was taken from the scene to a local hospital where she was treated and released.
She is not expected to be able to compete in the women’s snowboardcross event, which begins Friday. Her start position will not be replaced.
