Washington Mystics vs. Connecticut Sun: TV channel, time and how to watch

The Connecticut Sun are hosting their home opener Sunday. It will be the team's first opportunity to show off its new-look squad.
The Sun underwent significant changes during the WNBA offseason. None of their five primary starters from last season remain with the team. Alyssa Thomas, DiJonai Carrington and Tyasha Harris were all traded while DeWanna Bonner and Brionna Jones left the team in free agency.
As such, Connecticut will bring in an entirely new lineup, and it's anyone's guess as to how first-year coach Rachid Meziane's rotation will shake out.
The Washington Mystics are in a similar state of flux. They were expected to rely on their three, top-six picks from the 2025 WNBA Draft to carry their team, but No. 6 pick Georgia Amoore tore her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) ahead of the season. That will leave Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen to lead Washington, along with 2024 first-round pick Aaliyah Edwards.
This matchup should be a good one, considering that Connecticut and Washington will spend the early part of the WNBA season trying to figure out their identities. Here's how to watch the Sun and Mystics square off on Sunday.
