The WNBA All-Star Game is heading to Indianapolis for the first time, although one of the sport's biggest stars is unable to participate.

Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark, the top vote-getter from fans and captain of one of the two All-Star teams, revealed she won't play in the 2025 All-Star Game or participate in the 3-point contest because of a groin injury. It's a tough blow for fans, given the festivities are taking place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Clark's home court.

Still, the All-Star Game will include a bevy of the WNBA's best players. The Fever and Seattle Storm led all teams with three All-Star selections each. And now with injury replacements, the Washington Mystics and first-place Minnesota Lynx will each have three players competing in the All-Star Game.

Clark will remain a captain and help coach Team Clark, while Lynx star Napheesa Collier will serve as captain of the opposing team.
