Tech stocks: HP sinking
Personal computer giant Hewlett-Packard is taking an early morning hit to its stock price. Let's look at the tech stocks to watch Tuesday.
HP sliding. Shares are down more than 5% after Goldman Sachs downgraded its stock to sell, reports Marketwatch. It's yet another sign of the struggles within the PC market, as more consumers shift over to smartphones and tablets.
The dip disrupts a steady climb for HP stock, which has moved from a six-month low of $11.71 in late November to its current level just above $22.
Tuesday's early risers. Several tech stocks are trading higher as the markets open. Among the notables: BlackBerry shares are up 2%, Zynga enjoys a price bump of nearly 2%, and Facebook is up 1% ahead of its Android event this Thursday.
