Tech stocks: Sprint shares booming

Nothing like acquisition talk to get stocks moving. Let's look at the tech stocks to watch Monday.

Sprint soaring. No surprises here: Shares of the telecommunications company vaulted 17% on news Dish Network has placed a $25.5 billion bid to buy the carrier. The offer tops a $20 billion proposal from Japanese company Softbank.

Meanwhile, Dish Network shares are down 1.6% to $37.03.

Big week for tech earnings. Several tech companies will report quarterly earnings starting Tuesday with Intel and Yahoo. The stock price of chip maker Intel holds steady at $21.68, while Yahoo shares are up 1%.

Online marketplace eBay follows on Wednesday, as their stock price sits $57.41, up slightly.

On Thursday, five companies report: IBM, Google, Microsoft, Verizon and Nokia.
