Tech Five: Intel may pair with Google Glass


Chip maker Intel is reportedly making a bigger push into the wearable market. Let's look at five technology stocks to watch Monday:

Intel. The tech company will supply chips for Google Glass, according to The Wall Street Journal. The new version will arrive next year, and Intel will pitch the eyewear to companies such as hospital networks and manufacturers.

Samsung. The tech giant's top executives will remain in their current roles as the company prepares for job cuts in its mobile division, reports the Wall Street Journal. J.K. Shin, head of Samsung's mobile business, and B.K. Yoon, leader of the company's consumer electronics division, will stay put following reports of a potential shakeup.

Amazon. The online retailer says Black Friday sales were big for its Fire tablet and Kindle e-reader. In a statement released Monday, Amazon says Fire tablet sales tripled year-over-year, while Kindle e-reader sales quadrupled. The company also announced a new deal for Cyber Monday: $69 for Amazon's Fire TV set-top box.

Groupon. Shares of the daily deals site are up nearly 5% in pre-market trading after Bank of America upgraded the company's stock to buy, reports CNBC.

Sony. Several new films produced by the electronics giant's studios have been appearing on file-sharing sites following a massive hack, reports Variety. Sony says they are working with law enforcement to investigate.
