Tech Five: Adobe to report earnings this week


Software maker Adobe prepares to report quarterly earnings. Let's take a look at the technology stocks to watch to kick off the week:

Adobe. The company reports fourth quarter and fiscal year earnings after the markets close Thursday. Adobe is forecast to report $1.06 billion in revenue with an earnings per share of 30 cents.

eBay. The company's stock received an upgrade to "buy" from Stifel Nicolaus, reports CNBC. After slipping below $48 in mid-October, eBay shares have steadily climbed, closing last Friday at $54.81.

Sony. The electronics giant is hit by another suspected hack, this time targeting the PlayStation Store, reports AP. The online store was inaccessible to some users before being restored globally.

Apple. Say hello to Apple's app of the year: Elevate, which features a suite of brain-training mini-games. The company named its top apps for the year Monday, which also include the puzzle game Threes.

IBM. Big Blue has made its Watson Analytics service available to everyone in an open beta, The Next Web reports.
