#talkingtechLIVE podcast 9 p.m. ET - future cars & home automation

VENICE BEACH, Calif. - Thursday's #talkingtechLIVE event is sold out--but you can listen to the show and participate for free on TuneIn at 9 p.m. ET.

Paste BN's first-ever live podcast, streaming event in front of a studio audience is devoted to Future Tech in the Home and Car. We'll be looking at what's out now, what's in the wings, and what's to come.

Visit our Paste BN channel on TuneIn to listen, via this link. http://tunein.com/radio/USA-TODAY-s234044/

Additionally, submit questions from home for the panel via the #talkingtech hashtag on Twitter.

Our guests:

--Kim Horcher is the host of Nerd Alert, on The Young Turks Network. She describes Alert as "an honest and direct talk show discussing all topics ranging from technology, futurism, video games, science, pop-culture, web culture, and more."

--Kieran Hannon, the chief marketing officer for Belkin International, the home of the WEMO home automation brand. WEMO technology works with smartphone apps to turn on and off and dim lights, open garage doors, adjust the heat on a pot roast and even start a coffee maker.

--Cason Grover, a senior manager from Hyundai, who specializes in all things future tech. Hyundai was recently first among carmakers to add Android Auto to new vehicles, and Apple Carplay is coming soon to new Sonatas. He'll talk about when we might start really seeing self-driving cars on the streets, and how technology is changing the driving experience for those of us who still like getting behind the wheels.

--Chris Woodyard, the Los Angeles bureau chief for Paste BN, covers autos and hosts Paste BN's Just Cool Cars video series.

--Jefferson Graham (that's me,) a technology columnist for Paste BN and host of the no. 1 ranked #TalkingTech podcast and video show.

Be sure to be tuned in for the show--and stay all the way until 9:55 p.m. ET, when we will announce the date and very, very special guest we have booked for our next #talkingtechLIVE event.
