Meet the (Tech) press tonight: Live event
LOS ANGELES — We're having another #talkingtechLIVE party tonight.
Thursday, we'll stage a recording of Paste BN's No. 1-ranked podcast at our Los Angeles bureau with a studio audience. The event is sold-out, but you'll be able to listen to the streaming audio on Paste BN's TuneIn channel at 9 p.m. ET.
We will offer our take on the revamped Apple TV, a new top of the line speaker from Sonos, YouTube's new ad-free subscription service and take questions from the audience. Feel free to submit yours on Twitter, using the #talkingtech hashtag.
Join myself, Paste BN tech columnist and #talkingtech host Jefferson Graham with:
-- KTLA-TV tech reporter Rich DeMuro, whose syndicated "Tech Report," is beamed out each morning to 30 TV stations across the USA.
-- Andrew Wallenstein, co-editor-in-chief of showbiz bible Variety, who has a keen focus on the merging of entertainment and tech.
-- Dawn Chmielewski, senior editor with tech news website ReCode.net, and a former Los Angeles Times staffer.
The panel will discuss the latest tech trends, and look ahead to the fourth-quarter buying season. Which gadgets and gizmos do they see flying off shelves in November and December, who’s winning the retail war — Amazon or Apple — and what do Google and Microsoft have up their sleeves?
