Virginia really is for lovers: The states most looking for love, according to Google

Looks like Virginia really is for lovers. Trending search data released by Google shows that Virginia searches for "love" more than any other state.
That's been the case since 2004, according to Google, when the company first started aggregating the number of times each state has looked for love. Not far behind is Oregon, Mississippi, Texas, California.
The states least looking for love? Montana is at the bottom. Following the Treasure State in least likely to look search for love online are Rhode Island, Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin. (The data, according to a representative at Google, does take population into account.)
Notably, the word "love" — along with "teddy bears" — tends to spike in popularity around Valentine's Day. But people just aren't looking for "love," Google says. The three questions most asked by these hopelessly romantic Google users are: 'What is love?', 'How to love yourself', and 'How do you know when you love someone?'.
