Apple unveils WWDC schedule, including opening keynote on June 22
Apple released new details about its upcoming online Worldwide Developers Conference this month, which sheds light on new features coming to the iPhone.
In a statement released Thursday, Apple said its conference will kick off on June 22 with a keynote at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT). The keynote typically serves as a time where Apple highlights its latest iOS operating system.
The conference will also include a series of smaller development labs where iOS developers gather more specifics on how to leverage new features on to their apps.
Apple's WWDC is typically an in-person event, but shifted to a fully online experience this year to help limit the spread of the coronavirus pandemic worldwide.
The tech giant typically focuses on software during WWDC, following up with a fall event during which they reveal the latest iPhone along with other upcoming devices.
