'Project Gotham' creators unveil racing game for iOS

The creators of console titles Project Gotham Racing and Blur will launch a new racing games for the iPhone and iPad this fall.

The racing simulation 2K Drive will include several single- and multiplayer modes across multiple surfaces such as track, street or off-road races, and 25 licensed cars. Also available is a "RaceFace" feature to let players put themselves behind the wheel.

The game is being described as a "premium iOS" title, which likely means a higher than normal price tag for a mobile game. Earlier this summer, 2K launched the strategy game XCOM: Enemy Unknown as a "premium" title for $19.99.
