Telltale working with Marvel on 2017 game

Adventure game makers Telltale Games have added another big name to their growing list of collaborators: Marvel.

The video game publisher announced it is partnering with Marvel on a new game series slated to debut in 2017. No further details were provided.

The studio's star has been quickly rising since the launch of the first season of The Walking Dead in 2012, heralded by many outlets as the year's best game.

Since then, Telltale has locked down several high-profile partnerships, including HBO for its ongoing Game of Thrones adventure series, Mojang AB on a game based on Minecraft and with game studio Gearbox Software on Tales From the Borderlands.
