Live at E3: What's next for the Xbox

LOS ANGELES — Ready for a sleeker, slimmer Xbox One?

Microsoft is hosting a press conference Monday ahead of the Electronic Entertainment Expo, where it's widely expected to reveal a new model of its video game console. We'll have live updates from the event starting at 12:30 p.m. ET.

On Sunday, images leaked online showing a slimmer Xbox One in white. Reports claim the new console will be 40% slimmer than the current Xbox.

Meanwhile, there's a remote possibility Microsoft makes a deeper push into virtual reality. The company already boasts augmented reality headset HoloLens, but a report last month from video game site Kotaku says they're working on a partnership with Oculus where the Xbox could host the VR headset Rift.

Of course, expect Microsoft to roll out more details on Xbox One experiences including games such as Gears of War 4, and perhaps a new Halo.
