Fortnite working with LeBron James on new gear. Here's when you can get it

Fans of Fortnite can dress like a king starting Wednesday.

The popular video game is teaming up with NBA star LeBron James to launch a pair of new outfits players can use to spruce up their in-game avatars.

In a statement, Fortnite publisher Epic Games said the new gear "blends the best of LeBron's on-court and pregame persona." The new outfits, or skins, will be available starting Wednesday.

The game will also feature a gear bundle that includes a Lion Pickaxe, Wingspan Glider and a new taunt called The Silencer.

Players will get access to a second outfit called Tune Squad LeBron, created to commemorate the launch of "Space Jam: A New Legacy" in theaters and on the HBO Max app Friday. The outfit will also include a Taco Tuesday option if you want some extra flair.

The LeBron partnership is the latest pairing of Fortnite and sports. Last spring, the game included soccer star Neymar Jr. as a playable character. Fortnite has also featured several in-game items and events from the National Football League.
