Sonic is a fiber internet provider, offering ultra-high-speed internet with plans featuring download and upload speeds of up to 10 GB, or 10,000 Mbps. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requires download speeds of at least 100 Mbps to be considered broadband. Sonic's offerings are light-speed faster in comparison.

Sonic fiber internet plans are also notably more affordable than competitors, with its 10 GB plan costing $49.99 per month during the promotional period. Sonic plans are no-contract, and there are no initial fees at the time of purchase, as well as no early termination fees.

Sonic fiber speed offerings are among the fastest in the nation; however, plans are hard to find. Sonic availability is limited to California and is only offered in major cities, such as San Francisco and Los Angeles. Sonic Standard Fiber 10 Gigabits

Sonic's 10 GB plans are its fastest internet option. It'd be tough to find another internet provider that offers such high speeds at this price point. For example, Google Fiber's fastest plan offers speeds up to 8 GB, but prices start at $100 a month.
