Sonic Internet: Top-speed fiber plans
Sonic is a fiber internet provider, offering ultra-high-speed internet with plans featuring download and upload speeds of up to 10 GB, or 10,000 Mbps. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requires download speeds of at least 100 Mbps to be considered broadband. Sonic's offerings are light-speed faster in comparison.
Sonic fiber internet plans are also notably more affordable than competitors, with its 10 GB plan costing $49.99 per month during the promotional period. Sonic plans are no-contract, and there are no initial fees at the time of purchase, as well as no early termination fees.
Sonic fiber speed offerings are among the fastest in the nation; however, plans are hard to find. Sonic availability is limited to California and is only offered in major cities, such as San Francisco and Los Angeles. The provider plans to extend coverage areas, and you can enter your address into their website to preorder plans or get notified when Sonic is available in your area. Sonic internet fiber plans
Sonic is a fiber internet provider. The main difference between fiber and cable internet is that fiber offers symmetrical download and upload speeds. This is great if you need fast speeds to upload large files or videos. Fiber is also a dedicated line, which means network congestion shouldn't impact your connection. Sonic offers three internet plan options ranging from 1 GB to 10 GB and costing $49.99 to $59.99 per month during promotional periods.
