Zuckerberg meets China's propaganda chief


Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg met with China's propaganda chief as the social network continues its push to gain entry into one of the world's largest markets.

According to China's Xinhua news agency, propaganda chief Liu Yunshan met with Zuckerberg to urge Facebook to work with Chinese companies to improve Internet development.

Zuckerberg is in China to attend an economic forum in Beijing.

Facebook is among several tech websites based in the west banned by China. Other big names include Google and Twitter. Access to China would be huge for Facebook, and other tech companies. According to the China Internet Network Information Center, the country boasts nearly 650 million Internet users, reports Reuters.
