If you're a fan of Star Wars, then you've likely marked May 4 on your calendar.

The date honors the unofficial Star Wars Day, which plays off the famous movie line "may the force be with you," (replace force with fourth and you'll get it).

While it's a great day to catch up on some of the films or drop some classic quotes in everyday conversation, there are a few fun ways to enjoy the day thanks to your smartphone.

Here are four apps to help you celebrate:

Star Wars

The official app for the franchise is a must-download for any fan. Users receive the latest news on upcoming Star Wars movies, Star-Wars-themed weather updates, watch videos and share Star Wars GIFs or emojis. One of the coolest features is Force Trainer, an augmented reality mini-game where your smartphone transforms into a lightsaber.

Star Wars Commander

Rebellion or Empire? You pick a side in this action game where players build up their own base and defend it from enemy rebels or stormtroopers. Players train troops, build vehicles like AT-AT walkers and fight with (or against) Luke, Leia or Darth Vader.

Star Wars Card Trader

It boasts all the fun of card collecting without worrying about piling up shoeboxes of physical trading cards in your home. Thousands of cards are available across all Star Wars films, TV shows and other properties. You can also trade cards with friends. The app is really good about releasing cards on a regular basis, plus they offer several card packs for free to get you started.

Angry Birds Star Wars II

This crossover game featuring the Angry Birds dressed as Star Wars favorites including Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi battling the classic pig villains disguised as members of the Empire. The game plays like Angry Birds, where you fling one of several varieties of bird with a slingshot at egg-stealing pigs hiding in makeshift strongholds. But these birds use lightsaber and Jedi abilities triggered with swipes on the screen while in mid-air.
