Report: Apple planning revamp of MacBook Pro
Although fans of the iPhone will likely wait one more year for a major overhaul to the smartphone, Apple is moving more quickly on big changes to its line of MacBook computers.
According to Bloomberg, the new MacBooks will boast a thinner body, a touchscreen across the top for function keys and a significant upgrade to graphics processors. It is also expected to support USB-C ports capable of many duties including charging the laptop or moving data.
The report says Apple will not introduce the new MacBooks next month, during an event normally slated to unveil the next iPhone.
Apple's newest iPhone will reportedly include a dual camera that will capture two images and merge them into one picture. It will also remove the headphone jack, requiring owners to either use wireless headphones or plug their headphones into the phone's Lightning port.
Apple's latest smartphone comes at a critical time for the company, after reporting two straight quarters of down iPhone sales. During the second quarter, iPhone sales declined 15% year over year.
