Report: Here's how to manage Apple Watch
With its launch seemingly a couple months away, new information has surfaced on how users of the Apple Watch will control the market's latest wearable.
According to 9to5Mac, the Apple Watch will boast a companion app where users can organize apps on the device as well as its overall appearance.
The report says users will see a virtual view of the watch's selection of apps through the companion on their iPhone, allowing them to quickly make changes through the touchscreen.
Among some of the options available to Apple Watch owners: a red dot that will appear at the top of the watch face when a notification is received, a passcode system to secure the smartwatch -- will supports payments service Apple Pay -- and the ability to manage stored items such as music and photos.
Most of the features are available on the iPhone, but it's the first glimpse at how users will manage the smartwatch, which will reportedly launch in March.
Unveiled last fall, the Apple Watch enters an increasingly crowded field of wearables, including smartwatches like the Pebble and Samsung's Galaxy Gear, as well as an assortment of fitness bands.
The Apple Watch will start at $349.
