Santa Claus is a BUSY man in the run-up to Christmas.

Excitement for the big day builds around the world, and the North Pole is no exception. The elves are making sure all the toys are assembled and ready for delivery, while the reindeer are playing reindeer games and getting ready for their trek around the globe. Meanwhile, Santa is checking his list again, polishing Rudolph’s nose and making sure all the toys are packed in his big red sack and loaded onto the sleigh. But that doesn’t mean he’s out of reach!

Here’s how your kids can get updates from Santa and the North Pole in the lead-up to Christmas.

Santa Claus is comin' to town

Before he loads up his sleigh, you can check in on the big man to see what he, his elves, and his reindeer are up to using your smart speaker.

Just say, “Hey Google…”:

  • “What’s Santa up to?”
  • “What’s happening at the North Pole?”
  • “Call Santa.”

The feature is built into the Google Home devices. Amazon Alexa users need to enable the holiday-related skill on the device before it can be used.

NORAD track Santa

When the big night arrives, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) is the expert at tracking Santa and his sleigh.

NORAD’s website, social media pages, and app make it easy to see where Santa’s been, where he is, and where he’s heading. You can also ask Google or Alexa to locate him on his journey.

All that’s left to do is leave out the milk and cookies!
