The weekend is underway and it's definitely a cause for big spending. Some of the best tech on the market usually has big price tags, so it can be a bit intimidating to upgrade your essential pieces of hardware. Good news though, Best Buy is helping you save money this weekend.

The tech retailer is currently hosting its 3-Day Anniversary Sale now through August 15. This means that shoppers can get big discounts on everything from headphones to TVs and everything in between. That includes laptops which, if you're a college student heading back to class this fall, are discounted even further to those with a Best Buy account. Some prices have instant price cuts, alone or combined with Student Deals, applicable for students of all ages and their parents and guardians.
That means you can get a 13-inch MacBook Pro with a 512 GB storage capacity for $1,399.99. This model with a touch bar is usually listed for $1,799.99, but the combination of the anniversary sale and student discount brings it down by $400. Nearly 1,500 customers lauded the laptop with 5-star reviews for its easy-to-use features and fast processor.
You can also get the LG 48-inch Class C1 OLED 4K UHD Smart TV at a $200 discount for $1,299.99—that's a 13% discount from its standard price of $1,499.99. The LG C1 is our favorite TV, having wowed us with its elegant design, numerous features, and incredible contrast and color in its display. It also comes with the sixth iteration of LG’s webOS smart platform pre-installed that we found to be zippy, easy to navigate, and loaded with a broad selection of apps via LG’s Content Store.
