I hope you’re ready to put your trainer shoes on tomorrow to explore Paldea in Pokemon’s newest mainline entries, Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. You can preorder them on Nintendo, Amazon, Best Buy, and other retailers.  Physical copies hit store shelves tomorrow, Friday, November 18, but if you want to start your journey at midnight, you can always pick up a digital copy today—here’s where you can find both physical and digital copies.

The latest Pokemon entries are the first mainline games to feature a completely open world to explore, a step up from Sword & Shield’s partially open wild area in 2019. While the differences between Scarlet and Violet are largely cosmetic (different professors, legendaries and academy themes), you can play three distinct story lines regardless of which game you choose. As you build up your team to challenge the gym leaders, you can also play in co-op mode with up to three other players and trade Pokemon wirelessly to complete your Pokedex.

This has been a strong year for Pokemon, with the earlier releases of the side game Pokemon Legends Arceus and the remakes Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl giving fans a ton of content to enjoy. Scarlet and Violet are available for the Nintendo Switch, which now comes in an OLED edition and had a Pokemon limited edition to celebrate the launch of the new games (but has since sold out at most retailers).

Either copy of the game will retail for $59.99, while the double pack will run for $119.99 (it’s a great option for those with multiple Pokemon players in the household). If you purchase a key for a digital copy, the game will automatically download to your Nintendo Switch before midnight tonight so you can start playing as soon as it’s unlocked in your region. You can pick up a digital or physical copy directly from Nintendo’s website, as well as from Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and Gamestop for $59.99.
