Season three of The Mandalorian debuted today, but Disney+ isn't the only place where a Star Wars reveal is taking place this week. Logitech has partnered with Lucasfilm to create a pair of high-powered headphones based on Mando's iconic suit.

When we spoke to Michael Jessup, Head of Gaming Audio Products at Logitech about the collaboration, he described the new headphones as a "custom overhaul" of the features that appear on the standard A30 headphones. "The A30 Wireless The Mandalorian Edition was designed to represent Mando's Beskar Armor, everything that comes along with it, and what it represents, including all the way down to translating the text into Mandalorian script," Jessup said.
"The end result is a design collaboration that authentically represents The Mandalorian and we hope that fans will enjoy the headset just as much as we have enjoyed creating it for them."
Performance-wise, you can expect the same performance from the A30 headphones, but the audio prompts might hold a few Easter eggs for fans. The A30 headphones have dual radio mixing, a removeable microphone boom and are customizable with other Logitech devices.
"If your Kyber Crystal runs out of power, fear not," Jessup joked. "By utilizing the included 3.5mm analog cable, the A30 Wireless will always function as an analog headset even when the batteries are dead."
The team at Logitech are fans of the franchise themselves, according to Jessup. "We've had team members that are active members of the 501st legion all the way to several of us gathering together to play some tabletop Star Wars RPG campaigns on a regular basis." When the opportunity to work with Lucasfilm on the collaboration came along, Jessup says the team "fired up the hyperdrive and jumped into lightspeed."
You can suit up with some Beskar armor of your own with the Logitech and Lucasfilm headphones as of this week.
