"Resident Evil 4" is getting a remaster—here's how to preorder the game

Capcom's "Resident Evil" franchise is getting an update in the form of a remake of one of the series' most beloved games. 2005's "Resident Evil 4" won multiple Game of the Year titles when it was released, and this year it's officially getting a revamp for new consoles.

The game will debut for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC on Friday, March 24. The game remaster will feature reengineered graphics suitable for next-gen console play, and a "reimagined storyline" as well as updated gameplay. 

Ahead of the game's release, you can actually get access to the "Chainsaw Demo," which has no time limit and is available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. The demo includes a special difficulty mode, in the event that you want to be even more stressed as you play.
