This tried-and-true smart doorbell wowed us in testing for many reasons: For starters, it offers 1080p video resolution, which we found to be a major improvement over its predecessor's 720p, along with enhanced, clean crisp night vision. We also found the two-way audio to be impressively loud. Meanwhile, beefed-up security measures, like two-factor authentication, the option to view and remove linked accounts and shared users and control over which devices and third-party apps are synced, address issues seen in previous models.
I also enjoy it in my own home: After moving to a new city, my boyfriend and I felt like we needed some extra security and snagged this second-generation model.
