Amazon Prime Day is in its final stretch, but even if you're not yet a Prime member there's still time to get in on the action. You can join Amazon Prime during Prime Day and take advantage of the sale's amazing deals during a free 30-day Prime trial. You'll get the benefits just in time to squeeze in the remainder of the sale, and won't lose anything if you decide it's not for you, provided you cancel before your credit card is charged to continue the membership.

Since its roll-out in 2005, Amazon Prime has amassed thousands of devoted shoppers. The service is best known for its free one- to two-day expedited shipping on millions of items. But there are plenty of other perks, including the ability to stream Prime’s video and TV content, from the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel to Fleabag to Good Omens. Plus, even after Prime Day, members may take advantage of exclusive sales throughout the year.

After the 30-day trial, Prime memberships cost $119 annually or $12.99 per month, but there are ways certain people may snag a discount. Students are eligible for a longer trial, lasting six months, when they sign up. Afterwards, they pay a discounted membership rate, either $59 per year or $6.49 on a monthly basis. Customers with a valid EBT or Medicaid card are also eligible for a discounted membership rate of $5.99 per month.
