Mercury transit a rare sight to see
Mercury has begun a relatively rare move across the sun. The transit will last for a total of about seven and half hours.

The smallest planet in our solar system took a rare trip between the Earth and sun on Monday.
Social media were abuzz on Monday with images of the unusual spectacle.
Mercury, which is little larger than Earth’s moon, passes between our planet and the sun about 13 times in a century, according to NASA. The last pass was in 2006.
