Facebook Live Audio could win podcasters

LOS ANGELES — Facebook is opening the Live platform to authors, personalities, regular folks, and most importantly, podcasters.

It won't be overnight. Facebook just announced its intention this week, and is beginning with a select group of partners, including the BBC and publisher HarperCollins, but says more folks will be able to participate in 2017.

In the latest #TalkingTech podcast, I'm joined by fellow Paste BN podcaster Shannon Rae Green, the co-host of the "I Tell My Husband The News" comedy series, to talk about what implications Facebook's moves have for anyone who likes recording and sharing their audio.
