BBC's Planet Earth II comes to Snapchat

LOS ANGELES - The Snapchat app is adding a version of the BBC's popular Planet Earth series to its growing collection of TV shows, which also includes offshoots of ABC's "The Bachelor" and the political show "Good Luck America."

Planet Earth II has already aired in the United Kingdom, and will debut on TV here on February 18. Snapchatters will find "Planet" in the Discover portion of Snapchat, where videos play.

Snapchat says this take on Planet Earth II was produced by BBC specifically for Snapchat’s viewers, in a vertical mode preferred by mobile fans, over 6 episodes. Actress Sophie Okonedo is the narrator.
