CES still failing to push stocks
Might Samsung see a bump in its stock on Wednesday? It could depend on what's revealed during a keynote at the International Consumer Electronics Show.
Dr. Stephen Woo, President of Samsung's devices solutions business, will deliver a keynote at the trade show in Las Vegas. It's possible Samsung could reveal a surprise or two during the address.
On Tuesday, Panasonic used its keynote to reveal its 4K OLED TV model, following Sony's move earlier this week. The company also unveiled a 20-inch, 4K tablet aimed at businesses.
However, the announcements didn't deliver a positive impact on Panasonic stock, which closed down nearly 3% on the New York Stock Exchange.
Meanwhile, stocks from CES companies remain quiet. Nvidia experienced the biggest plunge, down 2% to $12.49. Companies such as Cisco, Qualcomm and Intel were all down slightly.
