Biden and The Onion poke fun at each other

Vice President Biden is poking fun at the satirical newspaper The Onion for poking fun at him.

Hours after The Onion released a mock autobiography of Biden -- The President of Vice -- Biden "protested" the depiction of him driving a TransAm.

He's a Corvette guy.

"A Trans-Am?" tweeted Biden. "Ever look under the hood of a Corvette?"

Biden's tweet included hashtag "#imavetteguy."

Biden provided his answer to the social media site Reddit.

The satirical newspaper The Onion has often had fun with Vice President Biden, and is now putting their efforts into an e-book.

The President of Vice, released Friday, is a fake "autobiography" of the vice president, written in "Biden style." It's available on Kindle for $2.99.

"Hombre, you've just done Uncle Joe a real solid buying this book," says the foreword. "I ain't the kind of guy who forgets his debts. Next time we meet there's a tallboy of ice cold Beast on me."
