Obama's day: Going down to Miami
President Obama turns back to the economy Friday during a visit to a pivotal political state, Florida.
The president plans to stress road and bridge construction during remarks at the port in Miami, where he will tour a new tunnel project.
Obama will discuss "ways to create jobs and strengthen the economy by investing in infrastructure," the White House schedule says.
It's a day trip; Obama will return to the White House in the late afternoon.
