Obama's day: A visit from Singapore
North Korea and China are likely to be on President Obama's mind Tuesday.
Those topics will likely surface as the president welcomes a key Asian ally -- Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong of Singapore -- to the Oval Office.
"The president looks forward to discussing with Prime Minister Lee a broad range of strategic and economic issues affecting the Asia-Pacific region," says the White House.
That presumably includes the recent threats by North Korea against South Korea and even the United States itself.
And Asia-Pacific strategic issues always include the region's major power, China.
Obama also meets Tuesday with senior advisers, and has lunch with Vice President Biden.
