Obama's day: Down to Mexico
President Obama begins a weekend foreign policy trip to Mexico and Costa Rica on Thursday.
Obama first flies to Mexico City for a meeting with Mexico President Enrique Pena Nieto.
Among the topics: Immigration, the economy, drug wars, and border security.
Later, the president meets with U.S. Embassy personnel in Mexico City, and participates in a joint news conference with Pena Nieto.
The evening brings a "working dinner" with Obama and Pena Nieto, the White House says.
Obama's three-day trip also includes a visit to Costa Rica for a meeting with Central American leaders.
