Obama's day: American Legion
It's a military kind of Friday for President Obama.
This morning, the president meets with the national commander and the executive director of the American Legion.
One major topic: Veterans benefits.
Later in the afternoon, Obama presents the Commander-in-Chief Trophy to the U.S. Naval Academy football team, which last season beat both Army and Air Force.
Navy is a frequent winner of the trophy that honors the nation's top service academy football team.
Also on Obama's schedule Friday: A meeting with Treasury Secretary Jack Lew.
