Michelle Obama to campaign in Wisconsin race
One member of the Obama family is now getting involved in a high-profile campaign.
First lady Michelle Obama, who like her husband has heretofore raised money for party organizations, will campaign next Monday for Wisconsin Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mary Burke.
Mrs. Obama will travel to Milwaukee on Sept. 29 for a "grass-roots campaign event" with Burke, who is running against incumbent Scott Walker.
The White House has said that President Obama will begin campaigning for individual candidates in October, but no details have been released.
