Obama jokes about United Nations traffic

NEW YORK -- It's United Nations Week in the Big Apple, and for the locals that can mean only one thing: Massive traffic jams, as heavily guarded world leaders motorcade from place to place.

One of those leaders, President Obama, made light of the situation Tuesday as he attended meetings related to this year's UN General Assembly.

"It's pretty smooth for me during the week," Obama said during a forum hosted by former President Bill Clinton. "I don't know what the problem is. Everybody hypes the traffic, but I haven't noticed."

Obama was following up on a joke he made about the former president's daughter Chelsea, who is having a baby soon.

Said Obama: "I was just discussing with President Clinton that if Chelsea begins delivery while I'm speaking, she has my motorcade and will be able to navigate traffic."
