Obama's former 'body man' writes book

Another book about President Obama is coming out soon, but this one figures to be very complimentary.

Former personal assistant Reggie Love — the "body man" constantly at the president's side — is writing Power Forward: My Presidential Education, which is scheduled for release Feb. 3.

Love, who began working with Obama during his 2008 campaign and followed him into the White House, writes about "the innumerable private moments during which that bond was forged and the President mentored a malleable young man," says publisher Simon & Schuster.

"Accountability and serving with pride and honor were learned during unsought moments," says a blurb: "From co-coaching grade school girls basketball with the president; lending Obama his tie ahead of a presidential debate; managing a personal life when no hour is truly his own; being tasked with getting the candidate up in the morning on time for long days of campaigning."

Love, who played college basketball at Duke University, also writes about another prominent leader, Duke basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski.

"Mentored by both Coach Krzyzewski and President Obama, Love shares universal insights learned in unique circumstances, an education in how sports, politics, and life can define who you are, what you believe in, and what it takes to make a difference," says Simon & Schuster.

Love is now a business person in the private sector.
