Obama's day: National Prayer Breakfast

President Obama's short public schedule Thursday features remarks at the annual National Prayer Breakfast.

While the president is expected to discuss the role of faith in public life, foreign policy watchers will be keeping an eye on whether Obama meets with another breakfast guest: The Dalai Lama.

China objects to any presidential meeting with the Dalai Lama, calling him a dangerous separatist.

Obama and the Dalai Lama have met privately at the White House; this is the first time they have appeared at the same public event.
