Obama's day: Again, no public events

For a second straight day, President Obama has no public events on his schedule Thursday, at least so far.

The president does have a string of private meetings at the White House, including lunch with Vice President Biden.

Among likely meetings topics: Nuclear negotiations with Iran, the fight against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, and efforts to maintain a truce between Ukraine and Russian separatists.
