Obama's day: Prayer breakfast, climate change
President Obama devotes Tuesday to spiritual and environmental concerns.
In the morning, Obama hosts an Easter prayer breakfast at the White House. The White House schedule says that "Christian leaders from across the country will join the president at this breakfast to pray and reflect on Holy Week and Easter."
In the afternoon, after his weekly lunch with Vice President Biden, Obama will travel to Howard University Medical School. There, he will host a meeting on how climate change can damage public health.
In speaking with medical and environmental officials, Obama will "discuss the impacts of climate change on public health and steps the administration is taking to reduce the health impacts of climate change on our communities," the White House says.
