Obama's day: Off to Jamaica
President Obama has a string of meetings Wednesday before leaving on a diplomatic trip to Jamaica and Panama.
In the morning, Obama speaks with Secretary of State John Kerry. Among their topics: the proposed nuclear deal with Iran.
This afternoon, Obama and his national security team will discuss ongoing efforts to eradicate the Ebola virus in West Africa.
The president departs in the late afternoon for Kingston, Jamaica. He will meet with personnel at the U.S. Embassy before spending the night.
Jamaica is the first stop in a short Obama trip that includes the Summit of the Americas in Panama.
