Obama's day: Local TV
President Obama starts the week Monday by talking with anchors from television stations in five markets.
Anchors from Columbus, Ohio; Harrisburg, Pa.; Madison, Wisc.; Portland, Maine.; and Sioux Falls, S.D., visit the White House as part of the administration's "Live From The White House" series.
Obama is expected to play up a tax cut plan he says will help the middle class, while arguing that a Republican proposal will benefit only the wealthy.
The television interviews begin a week of emphasis on economic issues for Obama.
Also on Monday, Obama and National Security Adviser Susan Rice will attend a meeting with leaders of American Jewish organizations.
One topic: The proposed nuclear deal with Iran, the subject of intense criticism from leaders in Israel.
