Obama's day: Air Force football, a trip to Oregon

Celebration and transportation mark President Obama's schedule on Thursday.

After a series of morning meetings, Obama hosts an early afternoon event to award the Commander-in-Chief Trophy to the Air Force football team for its wins last season over Army and Navy.

Later in the day, Obama boards Air Force One for a two-day western trip that starts in Oregon.

The president ends the day by speaking at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in Portland.

After spending the night in Oregon, Obama on Friday will visit Nike headquarters for an event to highlight his free trade proposals.
