Obama's day: Mayors meeting in San Francisco

President Obama remains in California on Friday, raising Democratic campaign money and speaking to a group of mayors.

Obama, who spent Thursday night in Los Angeles following a round of fundraising, begins the day by taking Air Force One to San Francisco.

While there, the president will address the annual meeting of the U.S. Conference of Mayors, urging them to adopt minimum wage hikes, jobs programs, and other Obama economic policies in their municipalities.

Later in the day, Obama headlines fundraising events for the Democratic National Committee and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Obama will remain overnight Friday in San Francisco, and is expected to travel to Palm Springs, Calif., for the Father's Day weekend.
