Obama's day: Behind the scenes

President Obama starts the week Monday with a behind-the-scenes kind of day.

The president has no public events on his schedule, but rather a string of private meetings at the White House.

Obama also has a blank public schedule for Tuesday, at least as of now.

Toward the end of week, Obama is scheduled to speak at a White House summit on workers Wednesday, and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute's awards gala on Thursday.

The weekend will bring a presidential fundraising trip to the West Coast.
