Shake Shack burgers now available on Delta flights out of more cities

Shack Shack burgers are now available on Delta Air Lines flights to four more cities this year, the airline announced this week.
As of Tuesday, the fast food chain's burgers are available in first class on flights over 900 miles departing from Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York-LaGuardia, and Seattle.
The move comes after a December initial launch out of Boston. Since then, the airline has served more than 10,000 burgers in the sky, according to Delta Managing Director of Onboard Service Stephanie Laster.
“The response has been incredible and we’re thrilled to expand this partnership, giving even more Delta travelers the chance to enjoy Shake Shack along their journey," Shake Shack President of Global Licensing Michael Kark said.
What does the Shack Shack burger come with on Delta flight?
Sorry, first-class passengers: No fries come with the burger.
But the cheeseburger is a 100% Angus beef patty topped with cheese served on a toasted potato bun. Customers can customize it with toppings including tomato, lettuce and ShackSauce, all served on the side.
The meal also includes chips, a Caesar salad and a dark chocolate brownie, according to a press release from both companies.
“This is part of our work to partner with brands our customers already know and love while continuing to raise the bar for the in-flight experience – whether that’s making your favorite cheeseburger available at 35,000 feet, or ensuring you have a variety of fresh meals to choose from that fuel you on your adventure," Laster said.
